The Graduate School may assist with emergency advances, limited to $500, available only for currently enrolled University of Miami graduate students who have anticipated financial aid (e.g., fellowship) during the semester that the emergency advance is requested. The student must have a demonstrated need (e.g., books, rent, meals). The student may only request one emergency advance per semester.
