At the beginning of both the Fall and Spring semesters, the Graduate School offers an orientation to introduce new students to graduate student life at UM. During Graduate Orientation, representatives from various UM offices address the general audience about key academic and non-academic matters essential for incoming graduate students.  

 

Graduate School Orientation Fall 2024

Graduate Student Orientation Fall will be on Friday, August 16, from 12:00pm-2:30pm at the Shalala Student Complex Center, on the 3rd Floor. If you require mobility accommodations, please contact the Graduate School at graduateschool@miami.edu, so that any necessary arrangements can be made.

This event will follow the Graduate International Student Orientation (ISO) hosted by International Student and Scholar Services, which will be held on Friday, August 16th from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Lakeside Village, Expo Center Hall. For more details on ISO, click here.
